01 - 1 1/2 cups chocolate wafer cookie crumbs

06 - 1/4 cup brandy
07 - 1/2 teaspoon instant espresso powder (optional)

# Directions:
01 - Set oven to 350°F (175°C) and allow to come to temperature.
02 - Combine chocolate wafer cookie crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar in a medium bowl. Mix thoroughly.
03 - Press crumb mixture evenly into the base and up the sides of a 9-inch pie plate. Bake for 8–10 minutes, then cool completely.

05 - Pour ice cream mixture into cooled crust. Smooth surface and freeze until firm, minimum 3 hours.
06 - Using an electric mixer or whisk, beat heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
