01 - Place chopped chocolate in a heatproof bowl and melt over a pot of simmering water or microwave in short intervals, stirring until smooth.
02 - Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread melted chocolate in an even layer and distribute broken pretzels evenly, pressing lightly into the surface.
03 - Melt soft caramels with heavy cream in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring until silky. Drizzle the warm caramel evenly over the chocolate and pretzels.
04 - Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or until fully set. Break into serving pieces and sprinkle sea salt flakes if desired.
