14 - 1/2 cup crushed sugar cubes or pearl sugar
15 - 1 tablespoon brown sugar
16 - 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
# Directions:
01 - Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
02 - In a large bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
03 - In another bowl, whisk eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until well combined.
04 - Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
05 - Lightly grease the waffle iron with nonstick spray or a small amount of melted butter.
06 - Pour approximately 1/3 cup of batter into the preheated waffle iron per batch. Cook until golden brown and crisp.
07 - Remove the cooked waffles and allow them to cool slightly. Cut or tear into bite-sized pieces.
08 - In a large bowl, toss the waffle bites with 3 tablespoons of melted butter. Add the cinnamon sugar mixture and toss to coat evenly.
09 - In a small bowl, combine the crushed sugar cubes or pearl sugar, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
10 - Generously sprinkle the assembled sugar rubble over the cinnamon sugar-coated waffle bites. Serve warm.
