03 - 2 garlic cloves, minced

05 - 14 oz canned diced tomatoes

07 - 8 oz short pasta (elbow macaroni or rotini)
08 - 2 tbsp vegetable oil or olive oil
09 - 2 cups beef or chicken broth
10 - 1 tsp paprika
11 - 1 tsp dried oregano
12 - 1 tsp dried basil
13 - ½ tsp ground black pepper
14 - 1 tsp salt, or to taste

16 - Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
# Directions:
01 - Heat oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add beef or turkey and brown on all sides for 5 to 7 minutes.
02 - Add chopped onion and diced bell pepper; sauté for 3 minutes until softened.
03 - Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
04 - Mix in tomato paste, paprika, oregano, basil, salt, and black pepper, coating meat and vegetables evenly.
05 - Pour in diced tomatoes and broth. Bring to a simmer, cover, and cook 15 minutes for turkey or 25 minutes for beef until tender.
06 - Add pasta, stir to combine, cover, and cook 10 to 12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and most liquid is absorbed.
07 - Adjust seasoning to taste and serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
