# Directions:

01 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and chopped red onion, sauté for 2 to 3 minutes until fragrant and softened.
02 - Add ground turkey to the skillet and cook, breaking it apart with a spatula, until no longer pink, approximately 5 minutes.
03 - Stir in grated carrot, diced bell pepper, ginger, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, black pepper, and chili flakes. Cook for another 3 to 4 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld and vegetables to soften slightly.
04 - Remove from heat and stir in chopped cilantro.
05 - Lay lettuce leaves on a platter. Spoon the turkey mixture into each leaf. Sprinkle wraps with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve with lime wedges on the side.
06 - Arrange veggie sticks on a plate. Serve wraps and veggie sticks together for a fresh, crunchy meal.

# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • Zero guilt, maximum flavor—your body and your taste buds both win.
  • Dinner is ready before the kitchen gets uncomfortably hot.
  • Everything tastes better with your hands, and wraps are permission to eat that way.
02 -
  • Wet lettuce leaves will tear and collapse—dry them thoroughly after washing, or your wraps become a mess no matter how good the filling is.
  • The moment the cilantro goes in is the moment you stop cooking; any longer and it turns bitter instead of bright.
03 -
  • If your lettuce is limp, soak the leaves in ice water for 10 minutes before assembling—they'll crisp up and hold everything better.
  • Toast your own sesame seeds in a dry skillet for 2 minutes; the flavor difference is wild and worth the extra step.
