Recipe FAQ

How do I achieve the perfect spice balance for Cajun shrimp?

Use the recommended Cajun seasoning amount and adjust to taste. A pinch of smoked paprika and garlic powder enhances depth without overwhelming heat.

Can I use frozen shrimp instead of fresh?

Yes, thaw frozen shrimp completely and pat dry before seasoning to ensure even roasting and flavor absorption.

What alternatives exist for baby potatoes?

Yukon Gold or red potatoes cut into similar sizes work well, roasting evenly with sweet corn.

How should the sweet corn be prepared for roasting?

Halve the ears of sweet corn and toss them with oil and seasoning to ensure they roast with caramelized sweetness and a slight char.

Is it necessary to use butter in this dish?

Butter adds richness and a smooth finish, but olive oil can be used for a lighter option or plant-based butter for dairy-free needs.
